Cybersecurity researchers at Cybernews have confirmed what they’re calling “one of the largest data breaches in history,” involving over 16 billion login credentials compiled from at least 30 separate datasets. The breach affects major platforms including Google, Apple, Facebook, and GitHub, with credentials reportedly gathered by infostealing malware and leaked on the dark web.

“This is not just a leak, it’s a blueprint for mass exploitation,” said Vilius Petkauskas, a lead researcher at Cybernews. He added that the exposed data includes usernames, passwords, and URLs, and could impact “pretty much any online service imaginable.” Also Read: India’s Forex Reserves Climb to $698.95 Billion
