The son of acclaimed Hollywood actor and filmmaker Rob Reiner has been taken into custody following the shocking deaths of his parents at their Los Angeles home over the weekend.

According to a statement released by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) on Monday, Nick Reiner, 32, was arrested Sunday night and booked for murder. He remains in county jail without bail as homicide detectives prepare to present the case to the district attorney’s office for formal charges.
