Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the Afghan suspect accused of shooting two National Guard members in Washington may have been radicalized after arriving in the United States.

Speaking on NBC’s Meet the Press and ABC’s This Week on Sunday, Noem explained that authorities believe Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, was already living in Washington state when he became radicalized.
