BREAKING: Dasuki Gets Permission For Overseas Treatment

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Tuesday granted permission to former National Security Adviser (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki, to travel abroad for medical check-up pending the commencement of his trial.

Dasuki is standing trial before the court, presided over by Justice Adeniyi Ademola on a a five-count charge that touches on alleged illegal possession of firearms and money laundering. In his ruling, Justice Ademola granted the former NSA three weeks within which to take care of his health. The judge equally ordered the court registrar to release the travel documents of Dasuki upon perfection of the terms attached to an order to that effect.
