The Senate, on Thursday, have approved the appointment of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu as the chairman of INEC. Other Commissioners for INEC approved by the Nigerian Senate are: Amina Zakari (Jigawa), Dr, Antonla Okoosi (Kogi), Baba Orfo (Borno), Mohammed Mustapha (Edo), Soyebi Solomon (Ogun) The INEC officials’ names were sent by President Buhari after the approval by the Council of State.
