Buhari’s Change Mantra Yet to be Felt by Nigerians, Says TUC

By Editor

The Trade Union Congress (TUC), on Thursday stated that five months after President Muhammadu Buhari seized power from immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan, Nigerians were yet to feel the change mantra.

The Congress, through its National President, Bobboi Kaigama argued while addressing construction workers at the 10th Triennial National Delegates Conference of the Construction and Civil Engineering Senior Staff Association, CCESSA, in Abuja, that government should know that the change mantra of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was not just going after corrupt officials. The TUC President said, “For the change mantra to be meaningful in the country there should be job security in the companies and security of lives and property. “It is only when these are done that Nigerians would know that change has started. “Security should not be left to security agencies alone as everybody has roles to play in ensuring that lives and property are protected.” Also Read: Jamal Musiala Undergoes Successful Surgery
