Celtic’s Kristap Porzingi Returns From Injury For Game 5 of NBA Finals

By Editor

The Boston Celtics has announced that Porzingis is available for Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday night after he missed the last two games with a left leg injury. Porzingis had missed the previous two games with a dislocated tendon in his left ankle. Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said before the game that Porzingis will not have a minutes restriction, according to the NBA website. Porzingis was cleared to play a limited role in Game 4, but never took off his warmups during Boston’s 122-84 loss in Dallas. He had been listed as questionable Monday morning before going through an on-court workout before tipoff. The workout included shooting, some light-contact post work and lateral movement drills.
