Portuguese international and Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has died at the age of 28 following a car accident in Zamora, Spain. His younger brother, André Silva, 26, also died in the crash.

The accident occurred today when the vehicle reportedly suffered a tyre blowout while overtaking, veered off the road, and caught fire. Emergency services confirmed both brothers were pronounced dead at the scene.
