Scores of travellers were left stranded on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, after Eurostar suspended all train services due to a power supply failure in the Channel Tunnel.

The disruption halted journeys between London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Brussels, with even continental routes such as Paris–Brussels cancelled. Passengers scrambled to find alternatives as crowds swelled at London’s St Pancras station and Paris’s Gare du Nord, their end-of-year holiday plans thrown into uncertainty.
