Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced Monday that an explosion on the Warsaw–Lublin railway line was a deliberate act of sabotage, describing it as an attack on both national security and civilian safety.

The blast occurred Sunday near the village of Mika, damaging tracks on one of the country’s most vital transport routes. “Unfortunately, the worst fears have been confirmed,” Tusk said in a statement posted on X. “An act of sabotage has occurred on the Warsaw-Lublin route. Blowing up the rail track is an unprecedented act of sabotage targeting directly the security of the Polish state and its civilians.” Also Read: Ukraine Suspends Justice Minister Amid $100M Energy Corruption Scandal
