Florida Executes David Pittman for 1990 Triple Murder

David Pittman, 63, was put to death by lethal injection on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Florida State Prison for the brutal murders of his estranged wife’s sister and parents. Pittman’s execution marks the 12th in Florida this year and the 31st in the United States.

Bonnie Knowles, 21, Clarence Knowles, 60, and Barbara Knowles, 50, were stabbed to death in their Mulberry home, which was then set on fire.
