I Have Not Ruled Out Leaving Real Madrid- Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo says his future at Real Madrid remains open and he hasn’t ruled out leaving. The 30-year-old continues to attract links to a move, with Manchester United often mentioned as a possible destination.

His contract ends in 2018, but he hasn’t decided his next step and won’t guarantee he will retire at the Santiago Bernabéu. When Kicker magazine asked if he could leave, Ronaldo said, “Why not? I’m a Real Madrid player now, but anything can happen. You must do what makes you happy. Nobody knows tomorrow. I will always give my best for my club and Portugal.”   His performances could earn him a third straight Ballon d’Or, though many tip Lionel Messi after Barcelona’s treble run. Ronaldo, Real’s all-time top scorer, still believes he is the best. “Maybe you think Messi is the best, another person may say Iniesta. I respect that, but for me, I’m the best,” he said.   Real face PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday, welcoming James Rodríguez back from injury, though coach Rafa Benítez says he may not start due to fitness. Captain Sergio Ramos also returns, but Raphael Varane and Pepe will likely start in defence. Real remain without Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.   PSG coach Laurent Blanc celebrated a 1-0 win over Rennes after Ángel Di María scored and his squad avoided new injuries. He still misses David Luiz, who suffered a knee injury while playing for Brazil.   Real and PSG drew 0-0 in Paris in their first meeting in over 20 years. Both teams sit on seven points from three games. Mark Clattenburg will officiate Tuesday’s clash. A win could secure a spot in the last 16 if Malmo lose to Shakhtar Donetsk.     Also Read: National Assembly to Host President Tinubu for Democracy Day
