The Kogi State University, Ayangba, has sent packing 68 students over their involvement in examination malpractice and poor academic performance.

The institution, in a statement on Sunday by its Registrar, Dr Yakubu Abubakar in Lokoja, stated that the affected students were expelled for various examination misconducts and 49 others were withdrawn for poor academic performance. He explained that some students also had their admission withdrawn over failure to register within the stipulated period and wrong entry requirements and that the affected students cut across all the faculties.
