NVIDIA and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) have agreed to pay 15% of their revenue from artificial intelligence (AI) chip sales to China directly to the U.S. government. The deal allows NVIDIA and AMD to resume sales of their advanced AI chips, specifically the H20 and MI308 models after a months-long freeze on exports due to national security concerns.
