Oil prices climbed sharply on Wednesday after an Israeli airstrike targeted Hamas leadership in Doha, Qatar, intensifying geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and rattling energy markets worldwide. According to Israeli officials, the strike aimed at senior Hamas figures gathered in the Qatari capital for ceasefire negotiations.
