A devastating attack shook Jerusalem on Monday, September 8, 2025, as Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a busy bus stop, killing six people and wounding 12 others during the morning rush hour. The attackers, two young Palestinians from the West Bank aged 20 and 21 with no prior arrests, were shot and killed by an Israeli soldier and civilians at the scene.

The shooting occurred at a major intersection in north Jerusalem, with a road leading to Jewish settlements in east Jerusalem. Footage of the attack showed dozens of people fleeing from the bus stop, with broken glass covering the area and wounded victims lying unconscious on the road and sidewalk.
