Prince Ali, 39, brother of King Abdullah of Jordan, serves in the country’s special forces and specializes in parachute jumps. He sat on FIFA’s executive from 2011 to 2015 and challenged Sepp Blatter for the presidency.

He pushed for women to play in hijabs, demanded more transparency, and promised bigger revenue shares for national associations. He condemned FIFA’s “backroom deals” and led calls to release the Garcia report on the 2018 and 2022 World Cup votes for Russia and Qatar.   Michel Platini Platini, one of football’s greatest players, built his political career after co-chairing France’s 1998 World Cup. He became UEFA president in 2007 and won two re-elections. His 90-day FIFA suspension over a $2 million payment without contract damaged his presidential hopes. Now 60, he gained fame as an administrator by pushing to share football’s money and decisions more fairly.   Jerome Champagne Champagne, 57, served as a French diplomat before joining FIFA in 1999. He rose to Deputy Secretary General under Blatter and left in 2010. “I am not ashamed of the FIFA years,” he told AFP. A former freelance journalist for France Football, he failed to run against Blatter in 2015 after lacking five required nominations. He vows to increase transparency, enforce ethics, and modernize FIFA’s administration.   David Nakhid Nakhid, 51, captained Trinidad and Tobago and played in Switzerland, Belgium, and the U.S. He runs football academies as his main administrative role. He argues that football power must shift from Europe and only a former player can reform FIFA. “I cannot be reckless. I am committed to fair reform and will tackle all breaches,” he said.
