World leaders and organizations gather in Paris this week to adopt a new global education framework. They aim to complete the unfinished business of education for all by 2030.

  The Education 2030 High-Level Meeting follows the World Education Forum in South Korea. Leaders acknowledged progress in expanding education, but goals remain unmet.   Education 2030 addresses current and future education challenges. The framework mobilizes stakeholders around a new education goal and targets.   Fred Van Leeuwen, Education International’s General Secretary, says success depends on political will, financing, and commitment.
