Uganda’s Foreign Reserves Surge by 33%

Uganda’s foreign exchange reserves have jumped by nearly one-third over the past year, rising from $3.2 billion to $4.3 billion as of June 2025.

Finance Ministry Permanent Secretary Ramathan Ggoobi announced the figures at a press conference, noting that the reserves now cover 3.8 months of imports. Also Read: Trump Lands in Scotland for Five-Day Visit
